Obituary

Virginia Alice Judy, beloved mother and friend passed away at her home in Tucson, AZ on Dec. 3rd, 2018. Born in 1927 in Potomac, IL, formerly of Sturgeon, MO. She is pre-deceased by her husband, Allen Judy. She is survived by her children Linda (Larry) Knight of Carlsbad, CA, Shirley (Steve) Moore of San Mateo, CA, Allen (Mandy) Judy of Macon, MO, Monica (John) Little of Kona, HI, Greg (Jan) Judy of Clark, MO, Lynette DeLong of Dillwyn, VA, Mara (Duane) Burghard of Tucson, AZ, 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She attended MacMurray College, married Allen Judy and together they raised 7 children. She is remembered for her quiet inner strength, her love for her children and her many amazing flower gardens. The strong work ethic that she shared with her children was developed on her parent's family farm. She worked tirelessly on the farm to care for her children, always providing for them before herself. She instilled in her children a love for the wonders and beauty of nature and a caring, positive outlook on the world. She lived her strong faith in God and was a lifelong Christian Scientist. She loved to travel, visiting her children all over the country.
Her children are very thankful to have had a wonderful mother who showed them how to live a life well-lived full of grace and love.
